TextPatrol is an AI study workspace for people who write and learn: students, ESL writers, and educators. One place to rephrase a clumsy paragraph, condense a long reading, fix grammar with explanations, make AI-drafted text read naturally, and check how likely a text is to be machine-written.
What we build
Five core tools, built to work together: a paraphraser that preserves meaning, a summarizer for long sources, a grammar checker that explains its corrections, a humanizer that makes stiff text readable, and an AI detector that reports a calibrated probability — not a verdict.
Who it's for
Students who want to understand their material, not just submit it. Writers working in a second language who want their ideas to come through clearly. Teachers who need honest signals about AI use rather than false certainty.
What we believe
- Honesty over hype: detection is probabilistic, and we say so everywhere. We will never sell a "guaranteed to pass" button, because no honest product can.
- Your work is yours: you keep the rights to your texts and results, and we don't use your writing for advertising.
- Privacy by restraint: we collect the minimum the product needs, and our Cookie Policy fits on one screen because there is genuinely that little to disclose.
- Learning first: every tool is designed to show its work — changes, explanations, scores — so you get better at writing, not just faster at submitting.
